HootaThon
About
The purpose of our organization is to raise awareness and funds for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Our organization connects the students at Temple University to the children at CHOP, as well as members of our community. HootaThon unites the campus as a whole in a celebration of the achievements of the organization, the commitment given to CHOP, the funds raised for the Child Life Department of CHOP, and the miracles that life brings families around the world, once a year. Our mission statement is to raise awareness and funds to better the lives of kids at CHOP.
As a community, HootaThon believes that diversity is imperative in order to achieve success. HootaThon promotes an inclusive environment for all members. We respect each and every difference among race, religion, skin color, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, physical ability, age, veteran status, and personal life experience. HootaThon encourages all Temple University students to join our organization without fear or discrimination or judgment.
